
Jonathan L. Scherer
Upon graduation from Law School in 1981, Mr. Scherer was recruited to
join the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to be a Patent Examiner,
handling applications in varied mechanical fields, including numerous
reissue and reexamination applications. In 1983, Mr. Scherer joined
the Firm. His experience in private industry has been in ceramic
engineering and in private practice in the mechanical arts, including
application preparation and prosecution, from initial patentability
search through reissue and reexamination. Mr. Scherer has extensive
experience in interference practice before the Board of Patent Appeals
and Interferences, as well as in licensing matters and litigation support.
