Philip L. O'Neill
Mr. O'Neill is a senior trial lawyer and business law counselor who joined the firm in October 2000 to assist in serving its
trademark and litigation clients. He has more than twenty years of private practice experience representing domestic and
foreign clients in a wide range of commercial law matters, especially those involving antitrust and trade regulation issues,
professional credentialing, contracts, intellectual property disputes and business torts. He has served as counsel of record
in more than 200 proceedings before federal enforcement agencies (i.e., FTC, DOJ Antitrust Division and U.S. Attorney's offices),
federal and state trial courts, and arbitration panels throughout the United States. In addition to his litigation work, he
regularly advises business and nonprofit clients in a wide range of federal law and policy matters, such as executive and
legislative advocacy, government contracts, and agency rulemakings. Mr. O'Neill is antitrust counsel to a large Midwest
health care system and to several national trade associations, and serves as outside general counsel to the National Commission
for Certifying Agencies.
